You will define strategic improvement roadmaps to innovate and take on the most critical business issues. You will assess business situations, scope projects, build partnerships, guide critical thinking, develop multi-workstream programs, lead execution, and drive impactful and sustainable change cross-functionally with an emphasis on aligning people, process, and technology. Directors quickly become proficient on detailed and complicated subject matter to define recommendations and requirements for improvement. <h3>Job Description:</h3>The RoleThe Product Area Leader (PAL), Health &amp; Welfare is a hands-on product leadership role within the Fidelity Health organization. Health &amp; Welfare is the foundation of Fidelity’s outsourced benefits administration offering and a growth business for the firm. You will be responsible for the roadmap development and product delivery for one of our most critical platforms.<ul><li>Develop and deliver on a strategic product roadmap for broader market as well as for client-specific features</li><li>Deliver scale and automation capabilities within products and services for improved customer and business outcomes</li><li>Drive product design that will inherently provide for operational efficiency within a benefits administration environment</li><li>Partner with Client Services, Operations, and Technology to define and deliver innovation solutions that meet and exceed market expectations for Fidelity’s clients.</li><li>Engage and get results within the Agile delivery methodology</li></ul>The Expertise and Skills You Bring<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or an equivalent (MBA preferred).</li><li>15+ years of Product Management experience with a track record of defining product direction and delivering high-value solutions within an agile environment</li><li>Expertise in the Benefits Outsourcing market, the competitive landscape, and emerging product needs</li><li>Experience leading vendor relationships and outsourced service models</li><li>Solid understanding of agile practices, software development methodologies, program management, and product management principles</li><li>Capable of collaborating across multiple teams and partners in a matrixed environment.</li><li>Demonstrated leadership with organizational change, including the approach to introduce next generation capabilities within an evolving environment.</li><li>Analyze, metric and report progress across products, services and programs</li><li>Curiosity to understand and build expertise around the Healthcare Industry and Healthcare Products.</li><li>Build high performing teams and create and inclusive environment across the team and business partners</li><li>Familiarity with HCM, benefits platforms, and digital health solutions is a plus.</li></ul>The TeamThe Health &amp; Welfare Product area is key to defining future product, delivering customer value and positioning Fidelity to be competitive in a constantly evolving market.
