Other responsibilities related to the WCS include equipment inventory and the input and preparation of newly purchased equipment for entry.In this role, you will sign off on overnight equipment approvals for students. You will coordinate the transport and return of equipment to and from engineering for repairs, ensure that trouble reports are evaluated and forwarded to the appropriate individuals, and arrange for barcodes to be applied to all equipment in circulation. Responsibilities include equipment inspections, evaluations, and repair determinations, as well as neat storage and studio space inspections to ensure they are ready for use. You will conduct quarterly equipment inventories, print and review daily kits, and monitor student film sets on location to ensure adherence to safety procedures and proper setup of specialized film equipment. Additional responsibilities include research and recommendations for studio equipment and the maintenance of technical logs.The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional planning, organization, time management, and work management skills.
