Position Summary: Plan, develop, schedule, budget, purchase, oversee, and evaluate the timely production of the college’s external paid communications. Monitor student enrollment trends, evaluate and implement communications strategies, and develop messaging to reach multiple audiences. Work with college offices and departments to create promotional appeals to meet short and long-term student recruitment needs. The position also works with the graphic designers, photographer, videographer, web development staff and social media staff to produce and distribute advertising creative.
Essential Functions:
35% Oversee the college’s paid media placement including, budgeting, scheduling and ad placement.
25% Work with Marketing and Communication staff to develop advertising creative and message strategies to appeal to multiple college audiences.
20% Assess and evaluate advertising effectiveness, generate reports, and implement outcomes and trends into new advertising appeals.
15% Work with Marketing and Communications staff to promote and maintain the consistent application of the college’s brand in all paid external communications, student recruitment publications and online communications.
5% Assist the Assistant Director, Web and Advertising as needed with general website needs.

Skills/Abilities:
<ul>
<li>Web authoring, social media, desktop publishing, Microsoft Office, and good written and presentation skills.</li>
<li>Able to interact with advertising sales representatives, so prior sales experience is beneficial.</li>
<li>Awareness of trends in advertising, as well as, a thorough understanding of the college’s audiences.</li>
<li>Understanding of graphic design principles in relation to advertising along with experience overseeing budgeting and advertising effectiveness.</li>

Complexity &amp; Creativity: Qualified candidates should have experience writing and developing advertising copy, working with stakeholders to determine priorities, and establishing consistency across multiple outputs and message campaigns. The individual who holds this position has a keen awareness of brand promotion via web, social&nbsp;media, television, radio, print and direct mail.
Magnitude of Impact: Failure in this position could result in a decline in enrollment or loss or brand reputation.
Responsibility for Accuracy: Accuracy in budgeting is critical to keep up with expenditures. Scheduling of advertising requires an awareness of college events and activities.
Judgement and Decisions: This position creates a mix of communications strategies and messages to maximize budget and increase the likelihood of increasing student enrollment.
Nature of Contacts: The position works with discipline chairs, deans, administrative staff, publications, graphic designers, web developers and social media to develop messages and creative executions to increase college enrollment.
Physical Demands: Primarily involves desk-based work with extended periods of sitting, computer use, and screen time, which may cause eye strain or repetitive motion discomfort. Occasional travel or light physical activity may be required for events or meetings.
Hazards: Prolonged sitting and repetitive tasks like typing can lead to musculoskeletal issues such as back pain, neck strain, or carpal tunnel syndrome. Extended screen time may result in eye strain or headaches. Additionally, stress-related conditions like fatigue or burnout can occur due to tight deadlines or high workloads.

Position Summary:&nbsp;To provide leadership and support for the Nursing Pathway’s curriculum and students. Leadership and support are primarily focused on maintaining connections with area Nursing schools and distributing information to Nursing Pathway students and advisors.
Essential Functions:
60% Coordinate Nursing Pathway advising. Communicate with PSCC AAS Nursing advisors. Maintain dedicated Nursing Pathways advising area on the Hardin Valley Campus, and provide advising information to students at other campuses, as well. Advise nursing pathway students as well as maintain connections with Nursing Pathways advisees through emails and social media platforms, as well as visits to prerequisite classes.
20% Develop and implement annual plans for the program area. Develop and maintain relationships with transfer institutions for Nursing Pathways. Develop and maintain accurate advising literature for transfer institutions/programs. Keep current information on website and available in print.
15% Collaborate with Student Orientation coordinators to ensure that all incoming students who are interested in nursing are given appropriate information. Coordinate with enrollment representatives to represent PSCC at high school events, career fairs, etc.
5% Other duties
Participate in routine activities and special initiatives related to Nursing Pathways. Mediate and address student and faculty concerns and conflicts. Supervise work-study and/or Student Employment Program (SEP) students. &nbsp;
Job Requirements:

<li>Bachelor’s degree from regionally accredited college required; Master’s preferred.</li>
<li>Three years’ experience at the community college level or college level in roles such as administrative, advising, coaching, student success and/or teaching.</li>
<li>Experience in Health Sciences preferred, but not required.</li>

Nature of Contacts: The nursing path coordinator will interact with administrators, advisors, coordinators, faculty, and students in the college as they obtain and share relevant information regarding the nursing pathway. In addition, the coordinator will interact with local transfer partners to share information regarding transfer options for students.
Responsibility for Accuracy: These errors, or oversights should be caught, if not immediately by the supervisor, the Dean or Departmental Assistant, and by the subsequent reviewers.
Judgement and Decisions: Day to day management of Nursing Pathways advising.
Physical Demands: Travel to all campuses will be required. Otherwise, a standard degree of ability in walking, standing, and sitting are required. Manual dexterity (use of computer keyboard and handwriting) is necessary.

Title: Adjunct Instructor – Management

 Position Summary: To provide quality instruction for student learning and to maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom. The major emphasis will be placed on teaching and evaluating students in the classroom and laboratories.
 Department: Business &amp; Computer Technology
 Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Planning and teaching classes as assigned and as outlined in the course descriptions and course syllabi. 2. Supervising the study and learning activities of students assigned. 3. Submitting requests through the department head, program coordinator, or lead teacher for equipment, supplies, textbooks, and other instructional aids. 4. Evaluating the academic progress of students. 5. Demonstrating knowledge of services, regulations, and procedures as defined in the Adjunct Faculty Handbook. 6. Submitting course grades and performing other administrative duties as required. 7. Scheduling two office hours. For extenuating circumstances in which office hours cannot be scheduled, the adjunct faculty member must submit a written plan to the Dean describing how students can access the instructor. Office hours are not paid during the summer session.
 Required Qualifications: Master’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited college/university with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the Management teaching field
