This effort includes a strong research agenda that incorporates a multidisciplinary approach and is dedicated to injury prevention and musculoskeletal health, rehabilitation, and human performance. We are requesting this faculty position to serve as a Research Title Assistant Professor that will have primary obligations with a Department of Defense funded study operating out of Wilmington, NC. The activities shall be limited to performance of research in rehabilitation sciences focused on performance optimization under the SMRI. This person will be expected to assist in fulfilling the research objectives of the SMRI, to collaborate with other departmental and college faculty, and to work together as part of a multidisciplinary research team of faculty, staff, graduate student researchers, postdocs on the assigned research responsibilities. The anticipated effort for this position is 95% Research/Scholarship and 5% Service. This posting will remain open until the appropriate individual is recruited.
