The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Elizabethton is accepting applications for the full- time position of Associate Instructor in Nutrition &amp; Food Service Training, a remote learning program.&nbsp;


GENERAL DUTIES: The Nutrition &amp; Food Service Training Instructor is responsible for the following areas including, but not limited to, teaching and supervision of students online; maintaining confidential, accurate and complete records on paper and electronically; complete reporting as required in a timely manner; participating in the continued development of the program, recruitment of new students and placement of graduates; maintaining an active advisory committee; and other duties as assigned. Reinforcing knowledge and skills required for entry-level employment as a Dietary Manager in foodservice. Instructors are responsible for best educational practices and the academic development of each student. Instructors monitor and reports student progress, manage classroom environment, and promote a positive and engaging learning experience, provide support, tutoring and other assistance as needed. Instructors model the professional behaviors, language, and activities expected of our students.&nbsp;


This position reports to the Vice President of Instruction. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and includes a minimum of 37.5 hours per week at an approved campus work site for instruction of a remote learning program.&nbsp;&nbsp;
