<h3>Job Description:</h3>Institutional and Intermediary Common Platforms (IICP) team is building a common user registration, identity and login platform, a common authorization service and a centralized fraud data collection service to be used by Fidelity Institutional internal and external Investment Professionals.This large effort will be rolled out in phases and adopted by ~10 existing systems.We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to help supplement an existing team of developers (IICP team). Common registration and login solution aligns with Fidelity Technology strategic priorities. Our focus is on preventing fraud for FIT/IWMS clients.The Expertise and Skills You Bring: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any other discipline </li><li>3-6 years of successful technical solutions design and hands on experience in JAVA required </li><li>Back-end application development expertise with extensive hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security. Experience with CockRoachDB would be a plus </li><li>Experience building APIs and working with API Gateways</li><li>Experience with Authorization and Authentication technologies and techniques is Highly preferred</li><li>Full understanding of software development process including analysis, design, coding, unit, functional and integration testing, understanding of test automation and test-driven development, troubleshooting, problem resolution </li><li>Designing and implementing secure, scalable, and highly available enterprise compliant systems, using Amazon Web Services (AWS) </li><li>Experience building containers-based systems: Architecture, implementation and managing orchestration platforms: Docker, EKS </li><li>Hands-on experience designing systems that use modern distributed Software Architecture Patterns </li><li>Critical thinking and complex problem-solving ability required </li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills - ability to effectively communicate across internal engineering and architecture teams </li><li>Experience in Agile development methodology </li><li>Experience with the following is a plus: GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Jira</li><li>Proven experience in Microservices Architecture development with REST </li><li>Strong communication and presentation skills</li></ul><h3>Certifications:</h3><h3>Category:</h3>Information TechnologyMost roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office.
